Vacation Bible School

   Vacation Bible School is scheduled for June 16th-20th from 9-11:30 am.  Epic Australian Adventure–An Unforgettable Journey with Jesus is the theme for this year’s VBS program.  We’re going on an adventure through Australia!  Life is an adventure, filled with plenty of exciting things to do, see, and discover.  At Epic Australian Adventure kids will explore five exciting Bible accounts and discover that Jesus is the way, and the truth, and the life!  As we traverse lush landscapes and wondrous wilderness, spotting amazing animals and stunning sea life along the way, there’s no need to fear-Jesus is always there to guide us.  So grab your walking stick and your compass and embark on an unforgettable journey with Jesus!   Activities at VBS will include Bible Lessons, games, snacks, crafts, science demonstrations and songs.  On Friday at the conclusion of VBS, all children and their families, plus all volunteers, are invited to a celebration luncheon and a brief closing program.

The Board of Christian Education is working on recruiting adult and youth volunteers to assist with this year’s VBS program.  If you are willing and able to help this year, contact Jeanette Rettinger, Barb Middaugh or Wendy Coxey.  The LWML will also be sponsoring a VBS craft night on June 9th at 7 pm.  It has been a great help in the past, so please plan to join us that evening.
