The Messiah’s works will exceed all expectation, and God’s people will celebrate the extraordinary wonders of His kingdom forever. The reading from James brings together both the theme of waiting and a focus on God’s prophetic messengers. James reminds us there is still some waiting and working to be done, as the fullness of the kingdom has yet to arrive.
