Today, in the parables of the growing seed and the mustard seed, we find that the scattered seed is the kingdom of God, and we hear only the positive outcomes that occur as a result of their planting: a bountiful harvest and a place of refuge. Thus, it is good to give thanks to the Lord, for in Him, we are part of the great harvest of the kingdom of God.
