The Gospel for the 7th and final Sunday of Easter is the middle section of Christ’s high priestly prayer. Before Jesus’ death, resurrection, and ascension, He prayed to His heavenly Father to protect His believers and to unify them as one, just as He and God the Father are one. That is also our prayer for the 8th grade Day School students who are confirmed today. May God bless us all!
