As we gather on this twenty-fourth Sunday after Pentecost we remember that while we await Christ’s return, knowing He comes with salvation, we are active, living out our faith, as children not of darkness, but of light. We also recognize the veterans of our congregation and thank them for their service, along with all veterans everywhere.
