It is still the Epiphany season. But the Epistles for Epiphany 6 and 7 seem as if we skipped Lent and have begun celebrating Christ’s victory over death. That is appropriate, since every Sunday is a little Easter. And Christ’s return will be yet another epiphany that He is God. Further, the promise of the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come means we need not fear death!
